Wedding season is in full swing...

Really enjoying the busy time of year (now!) with wedding shoots.

Traditional look:

Trying some new techniques to give a different feel to some of the reception shots - I'm always keen to hear any feedback!

Many thanks for visiting.

Renault World Series at Silverstone

Had a few tickets to the Renault World Series at Silverstone for Sunday.

Great day out and stunning value (it was free!)

Glad I took the camera as it's good practice for shooting a faster moving subject than the usual bride & groom...

Some other "lost shots" have surfaced as well...

A surprise find in a pub garden...

From a walk along the River Deben at Felixstowe ferry...

Facebook - I've succumbed!

I've finally joined the social networking phenomenom...

No more grumpy old man style jibes about "MyFace BeboSpace" for me...

Please feel free to search for me on Facebook & you can even join the A Picture of Suffolk group as well!

It's another way to contact me for a chat if nothing else!

Look forward to 2008

It's nice to feel wanted - I'm booking up for 2009 already...

I'm getting a large number of enquiries for wedding photography for 2009 and have already confirmed several weekends.

If you are interested in booking me, please get in touch soon, bearing in mind:

1) If I'm already booked then you have missed out!

2) If you book your wedding and pay a deposit before November 2008, then I will hold my 2008 price for you. My 2009 prices will be higher, as I need to recoup the several thousand pounds I have spent this year upgrading kit...

Please call me or use the contact page on www.apictureofsuffolk.com

Many thanks & I look forward to speaking to you soon.

Back to Aldeburgh tonight

Whizzed up to the coast tonight for a fish & chip supper. Took a few snaps tonight & I'm fairly pleased with this one of the Britten Memorial.

Hope you enjoy it.

Monochrome Portraits

Oooh, very arty!

I'm "feeling a bit black & white" at the moment, hence this one of my brother, taken whilst we were having a cup of coffee...Hope you enjoy it.

A Walk in the Forest

Taken recently on a walk in the forest with Charlie (my son). He found a hole in the ground, climbed in and this is on eof the shots I took (after resigning myself that he wanted to be in the hoe - I took him out of it twice before I got the camera out!)

Hope you enjoy it.

It's amazing what you can find "down the back of the sofa"...

In a manner of speaking!

I've just been going through some folders on the PC and have found some shots that I'd forgotten about - they were personal ones, not for clients I hasten to add!

I've put some of them in a gallery of London shots and will add more as I finish processing them ;)

Hope you enjoy them.

Booking fast for 2008

Just a gentle nudge - I'm booking up fast for 2008, so if you are interested in commissioning me to photograph your wedding, then please give me a call to see if your chosen date is still available...

January, time to do something different...

New Year, time for something different!

As I spend most of my time behind the camera taking photos of landscapes & wedding guests, I thought it would be great to shoot a professional model.

I have dealt with Kaz Studios in Rayleigh before, so I booked into a joint session to photograph Lauren this week & I'm very pleased with the results, see below!

It was a pleasure to work with someone as professional (not to mention stunning!) as Lauren.

Many thanks to Lauren & Clive at Kaz Studios.

I have posted more results from the shoot on a gallery on the Landscapes & Event page on my site.

If you would like to be photographed in a similar style, please contact me for a quote!
